Alternatives to Google

Rate this post

If you are one of those that strongly dislike Google, you have come to the right place. If not, you must be aware that it is a big brother, a web attacker, and famous for tracking its users.

Well, as a matter of fact, it is very difficult to escape (from) its clutches. It is the most influential tyrant on the Internet: either you do what it says, or it panalises your website. It is so powerful that webmasters and companies fear it, and  blindly follow its demands, which is most unfair. If a company does not obey Google, it has little chance of being succesful.

However, all is not lost. There are alternatives to Google. I list some of them below:

• For everyone who’s had enough of online tracking, DuckDuckGo is a search engine that lets you take back your online privacy: https://duckduckgo.com/. This is the search engine I use, and it works like a charm. Please notice that Bing is not an alternative to Google, because it also tracks you.

• How to Live Without Google: Alternatives That Protect Your Privacy. Remove Google from your life? Yes, it can be done! More and more people are also realizing the risk of relying on one company for so many personal services. If you're joining the ranks of people who've decided Google's data collection has become too invasive, here are some suggestions for replacements with minimal switching cost. Most are free, though even those that are paid are worth it — the cost of not switching is a cost to your personal privacy, and the good news is we have a choice! Visit https://spreadprivacy.com/how-to-remove-google/ for further information.

If you have a website and use Google's services, please remove them, since they track the visitors to your website, and Google keeps all the information it collects for murky purposes. If you need statistics, there are alternatives to Google's analytics. Do you not think that your visitors deserve some privacy?

If you happen to know any alternative to Google, please write to me, and I will list it here.

Please note that nobody is tracked at Polseguera.com.
